Early on my journey, I bumped into someone I recognised from Youtube, Liam & Dollz. When I first came across his channel, he was moored in Manchester and ran a hair salon. Anyhow, he was livesteaming on TikTok, so I had a watch. It seemed he was moored nearby, so I popped down for a few beers, as you do! He persuaded me to rejoin TikTok. I found it to be one of those apps you could lose 3–4 hours easily, hence why I deleted it. But I’m back to their sharing videos of narrowboat stuff. Now, personally, I don’t think I have done too badly for 2 months,
Views have certainly been strange. A 3-second video of me walking the boat out of the lock gains 95k views! Shocking to say the least. I will go live one day, not yet but I will.
Getting back to Liam, he now runs a burrito boat, selling freshly made burritos on the canal side. Go and check him out. Such a lovely fella!
