One of the reasons i chose the narrowboat life is the varying amounts of wildlife to see from the comfort of your armchair or tiller. Take this beauty. I watched him/her for 20 minutes before grabbing the camera. Absolute beauty. Spotted a few young deer in fields as i cruised past, sadly camera was in its case at the front of the boat, and I’m not risking that falling into the drink!!
In the meantime, I’ll add more wildlife photography. My current wish list is the elusive Kingfisher! If i can snap that, I’ll be smiling for a month!!
